Job Overview:
We are looking for highly motivated Interns to join our team and gain valuable experience in the world of alternative financial markets. As a Finance Intern, your primary goal will be to open 40 new client accounts while collaborating with a team of 5 other interns. You will work under the guidance of senior brokers until you achieve key milestones, such as obtaining the necessary NISM licenses and completing your account opening targets. Once you meet these requirements, you will have the opportunity to earn commission-based income as you transition into a full-fledged sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
💼 Account Opening & Client Acquisition:
- Open 40 new accounts for clients looking to invest in unlisted shares, debt instruments, and other off-market financial products.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 interns to meet collective account-opening targets.
- Conduct initial client outreach, explaining the benefits and risks of investing in unlisted financial instruments.
- Ensure all required documentation and compliance standards are met during the account opening process.
🏆 NISM License & Compliance:
- Complete the necessary NISM certification exams required for trading and dealing with financial instruments.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory guidelines associated with financial services, ensuring compliance with SEBI and other governing bodies.
- Work under the supervision of experienced brokers until you successfully achieve the required licenses and certifications.
🤝 Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Join 3 other interns to form a collaborative group focused on account openings and client outreach.
- Regularly report on your progress towards meeting account-opening targets.
- Receive mentorship and guidance from senior brokers to ensure you’re developing the skills necessary to succeed in the financial services industry.
📊 Training & Development:
- Attend ongoing training sessions on the financial markets, unlisted shares, debt instruments, and investment strategies.
- Learn the ins and outs of alternative financial products and how to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Develop a strong understanding of financial compliance, risk management, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or recent graduate).
- Strong interest in the financial markets, especially alternative investments like unlisted shares and debt instruments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and eager to learn about finance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Prior knowledge of financial markets is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to complete NISM certifications before starting to earn commissions.
