What this flow is

A sales conversation turns into a real chance of business. The team needs to know what the customer wants, what it's worth and what happens next.

Here the deal is an opportunity listing the items the customer wants. When it's ready, the quotation is made from it, so the price goes out without retyping.

Screen by screen

Each step is a real ERPNext screen in the demo company. FlowMentor points at what to fill in.

  1. Opportunity

A qualified enquiry: what the customer is interested in, ready to be priced.

  2. Quotation

Your offer, made from the opportunity with items at price-list rates, ready to become an order when they say yes.

Inside the demo company

Mith Demo Traders, a made-up company that makes and sells kettles and toasters. It isn't GST-registered, so its documents carry no tax.

The won deal is an opportunity with its items filled in; you make the quotation from it. Call briefs and the deal board are in MithUniverse only.

You're signed in as a demo visitor. Nothing is emailed, and what you make is removed 15 minutes after you finish.

A guide on every screen

FlowMentor is our guide app for ERPNext. On each screen it points at the field to fill and the button to press, one step at a time, so you can finish the flow without training. It runs on the real screens, not a video.
