What this flow is

A team that delivers in sprints plans the next two weeks from a backlog, moves each task across a board, and watches whether the sprint will finish.

Here the sprint, the board and the reports come from Pulse, our open-source app, and every card is ERPNext's own Task. Hours logged on a task reach the project's costing, so the work and what it cost sit in one place.

Screen by screen

Each step is a real Pulse screen in the demo company. FlowMentor points at what to fill in.

  1. Task

One piece of work in a project: who does it, by when, and (with Pulse) its sprint, board column and key.

  2. Timesheet

Hours booked on a project's task, and what they're worth at the activity's billing rate.

Inside the demo company

Mith Demo Traders, a made-up company that makes and sells kettles and toasters. It isn't GST-registered, so its documents carry no tax.

A task of your own sits in the shop team's current sprint; you set it to Done, log an hour on it and open the sprint's burndown. The Pulse board itself opens at the end.

You're signed in as a demo visitor. Nothing is emailed, and what you make is removed 15 minutes after you finish.

A guide on every screen

FlowMentor is our guide app for ERPNext. On each screen it points at the field to fill and the button to press, one step at a time, so you can finish the flow without training. It runs on the real screens, not a video.
