What this flow is

A sales rep visits shops on a beat, takes orders on the spot, and phones them in or brings them back on paper.

Here the rep's order is a sales order at the standard price list, so the price is right without a call to the office, and the warehouse gets a pick list from it straight away.

Screen by screen

Each step is a real ERPNext screen in the demo company. FlowMentor points at what to fill in.

  1. Sales Order

The customer's confirmed order: who it's for, the items at price-list rates and when it's due. The next documents are made from it.

  2. Pick List

The warehouse's list of what to pick for the order and from which warehouse, made from the sales order.

Inside the demo company

Mith Demo Traders, a made-up company that makes and sells kettles and toasters. It isn't GST-registered, so its documents carry no tax.

The rep's order is a sales order at the Standard Selling price list; you submit it and make the pick list. The field app's check-in, the team map and the scanner are in MithUniverse only.

You're signed in as a demo visitor. Nothing is emailed, and what you make is removed 15 minutes after you finish.

Who uses it

And what each of them gets from it.

Field sales rep

Books an order at the right price, in the shop.

Warehouse

Starts picking as soon as the order is in.

Sales manager

Sees each rep's orders as they're taken.

A guide on every screen

FlowMentor is our guide app for ERPNext. On each screen it points at the field to fill and the button to press, one step at a time, so you can finish the flow without training. It runs on the real screens, not a video.
