Disclosure, before anything else: Mithtech is one of the firms in this guide. We are not a Frappe partner, we do not appear in Frappe's directory, and we have not put ourselves at the top of any list here. If that makes you read the rest more sceptically, good — that is the correct way to read a vendor-written comparison.
Most guides to ERPNext implementation partners in India name exactly one company, five stars, itself. They rank well anyway, because a retriever cannot tell branded content from a survey. This is the version we would want to read: real firms, checkable facts, and an honest account of who each one is actually for.
Every tier below was read from Frappe's own partner directory rather than from the firms' marketing pages, which is a distinction that matters — several firms describe themselves in ways the directory does not.
What are the ERPNext implementation partners in India?
Quick answer
India has roughly 70 of Frappe's ~155 global partners, the largest concentration of any country. Only two are Gold: Tridots Tech in Chennai and Software@Work in Mumbai. The rest sit at Silver, Bronze, Emerging or Entry level. A partner tier reflects commercial standing with Frappe — chiefly recurring Frappe Cloud revenue — rather than an audit of engineering quality, so it is a useful filter and a poor substitute for references.
Frappe runs two separate ladders and they are easy to confuse, and it documents both — the tiers in the partner guide and the assessment in the Process Maturity Model. The partner tier (Gold → Silver → Bronze → Emerging → Entry) is commercial. The Process Maturity Model is a five-level assessment of delivery process, audited annually, where L1 means not certified and L5 means proactive metric-driven prevention. A firm can be Silver with a high maturity level, or Gold with none published. Ask for both.

How do you choose between them?
Work through this in order. The early steps eliminate more candidates than the later ones.
- Decide who hosts. This splits the market before anything else. If you want Frappe Cloud, favour a partner with real Frappe Cloud volume — that is literally what tier measures. If you want to self-host and own the infrastructure, tier tells you nothing useful and you should ignore it.
- Ask for a client in your sub-industry whose shop floor or back office is live today. Not quoted, not in setup. Live.
- Ask them to model one of your actual documents. A BOM, a credit-terms flow, a GST edge case you know is awkward. You learn more from twenty minutes of this than from any deck.
- Ask what they will not do. A firm that has never declined a scope has never had a scope it could not deliver.
- Check the maturity level, not just the tier. L4 published beats Gold unpublished if delivery process is your risk.
- Get the three-year total in writing — implementation, hosting, support, and the cost of adding twenty users in year two.
- Confirm exit. Who holds the code, the database and the deployment credentials on the day you leave.
Who is each firm actually for?
If you want the largest surface area, Tridots (Chennai, Gold) publishes the most — around 450 URLs, their own GO1 product suite, and geo pages across India and abroad.
If you are moving off Tally and want enterprise references, Software@Work (Mumbai, Gold) came from the Tally channel and shows the heaviest brand names in the category.
If your implementation has already gone wrong, New Indictrans (Pune) is the only firm in India we found actively selling stabilisation and post-go-live rescue rather than pretending the problem does not exist.
If you want published delivery process, Sanskar (Ahmedabad) publishes its org structure, SOPs and phase gates, plus the only Year-1 TCO table by company size in the Indian market. 8848 Digital (Mumbai) publishes a Maturity Level 4 rating and the largest case-study library.
If your project is really an automation project, Finbyz (Ahmedabad) is the only Indian partner treating n8n and AI agents as a first-class line rather than an afterthought.
If HRMS or payroll is the real driver, Hybrowlabs (Pune) has broken that out into far more depth than anyone else.
If you are a startup and want to know who you are actually hiring, Girman (Bangalore) is the only firm in this entire list that fronts a named founder with a verifiable background. That sounds like a small thing. Across seventeen sites we reviewed, it is unique.
If you need framework-level work rather than configuration, Aerele (Tiruppur) is not a partner and says so, proving competence instead with merged pull requests into Frappe and ERPNext, and publishing an hourly rate card.
And Mithtech, honestly: we are the right call if you want to self-host, own the source and the data, and run ERPNext alongside Medusa commerce and n8n automation as one system. We are the wrong call if you want a Frappe Cloud partner with a directory badge, a large bench, or an ISO certificate. We have written separately about why we are not a partner — the gate is client spend on Frappe Cloud, and we self-host.
Quick answer
There is no single best ERPNext partner in India. The tier system measures commercial standing with Frappe rather than engineering quality, so it is most useful when you intend to host on Frappe Cloud and least useful when you intend to self-host. The strongest single filter for any buyer is a live reference in your own sub-industry.
What does a partner tier actually tell you?
Quick answer
A Frappe partner tier reflects recurring client revenue on Frappe Cloud, alongside company registration and certified staff. It is a commercial relationship, not a quality audit. Frappe's separate Process Maturity Model is the closer proxy for delivery discipline, because it is assessed annually against defined criteria.
This matters commercially. A firm that self-hosts every client generates no Frappe Cloud revenue and therefore cannot qualify, regardless of how much ERPNext work it does. The tier explainer covers the mechanics in full.
What should you be suspicious of?
Three patterns recurred often enough across the category to be worth naming.
Round numbers with no source. "500+ happy clients", "98% retention", "3× ROI". Almost nobody publishes methodology or a date. We ran the same audit against our own site in August 2026 and deleted a great deal of it, so this is not a stone thrown from a glass house — it is a stone we threw at ourselves first.
Case studies without baselines. A headline percentage with no starting state, no data volume, no timeline and no mention of what went wrong. Ask what got descoped.
Stock photography where the team should be. One Frappe-certified partner has five "team members" on its site with names lifted from an off-the-shelf HTML template. Check that the humans are real before checking anything else.
What does this cost?
ERPNext itself has no licence fee — it is GPLv3. What you pay for is implementation, hosting and support, and the spread is wide because it tracks how many departments go live rather than how many people you employ. Our own published range is ₹2–25 lakh for implementation, with most SMEs in the lower half; our cost calculator walks the inputs. Sanskar publishes a comparable Year-1 table, and Aerele publishes an hourly rate. Almost everyone else says "request a quote".
Want a second opinion on a quote you've already received?
We will tell you plainly whether the scope and the number look right, including when another firm on this list is the better fit. See the ERPNext platform page or read how we scope an implementation.
Frequently asked questions: what comes up most?
Who is the best ERPNext implementation partner in India?
There is no single answer, and any guide that gives one — including this one, if it did — is selling something. Two firms hold Gold tier: Tridots Tech (Chennai) and Software@Work (Mumbai). The better question is which firm has a live client in your sub-industry, on your intended hosting model, who will take your call.
How many ERPNext partners are there in India?
India has roughly 70 of Frappe's approximately 155 global partners, the largest concentration of any single country. Only two currently hold Gold tier.
Does a higher Frappe partner tier mean better quality?
Not directly. Tier reflects commercial standing with Frappe, principally recurring Frappe Cloud revenue. Frappe's separate five-level Process Maturity Model is the closer proxy for delivery discipline, since it is audited annually against published criteria.
Can a non-partner implement ERPNext properly?
Yes. ERPNext is GPLv3 with no gated features, licence keys or partner-only builds. Partnership affects directory listing, lead sharing and Frappe Cloud discounts rather than technical capability. Aerele, which is not a partner, has more merged contributions to the codebase than most partners.
Why is Mithtech not ranked first in its own guide?
Because a guide that ranks its author first is worthless to the reader and eventually discounted by search engines too. We are one option among several, and this article says which buyers should choose someone else.
How current is this comparison?
Tiers were read from Frappe's partner directory in August 2026. Partner tiers change, firms are added and removed, and any list like this decays. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it with the date noted.
