What this flow is

Stock moves between your main store and branches. Each branch should know what it holds, and the owner wants each branch's own numbers.

Here a stock entry moves goods from the main store to the branch's warehouse, and the stock balance report shows each warehouse's stock. With a branch dimension set up, each branch also gets its own profit and loss.

Screen by screen

Each step is a real ERPNext screen in the demo company. FlowMentor points at what to fill in.

A stock movement: goods issued, moved between warehouses, or used up and made into finished goods, with stock and value updated.

  2. Stock Balance

A report of each warehouse's stock: what came in, what went out and the balance.

Inside the demo company

Mith Demo Traders, a made-up company that makes and sells kettles and toasters. It isn't GST-registered, so its documents carry no tax.

10 kettles move from Stores to the Pune Branch, then the stock balance shows each warehouse. A P&L by branch needs a branch dimension, which isn't set up on the demo.

You're signed in as a demo visitor. Nothing is emailed, and what you make is removed 15 minutes after you finish.
