Healthcare × ERPNext
ERPNext for clinics and hospitals — in India
Patient records, OPD/IPD billing, pharmacy inventory, lab integration, and ABHA — in one open-source ERP.
Mith Tech implements ERPNext for single-specialty clinics, multi-specialty hospitals, diagnostic chains, and pharmacy retailers across India. The build covers patient registration, appointment scheduling, OPD and IPD billing, pharmacy and consumables inventory with batch tracking, lab order management, and integrations with the ABHA / ABDM stack.
Compliance, in the cell
Patient data stays on infrastructure you own, with role-based access for doctors, nurses, reception, and pharmacy — not shared with a SaaS vendor's analytics pipeline. India Compliance handles GST on healthcare services (exempt vs taxable mix), TCS on pharmacy sales above threshold, and the ABHA / Health Facility Registry / HIE-CM integrations that ABDM requires for digital claims.
What we deploy
Patient registration & ABHA
Patient records, ABHA linking, ABDM-compliant identifiers, appointment scheduling, and the consent artefacts ABDM requires for digital health record exchange.
OPD / IPD billing
Doctor consultation billing, package pricing, IPD deposit tracking, discharge summary, and insurance TPA workflows — wired to the same inventory and accounts modules.
Pharmacy & consumables
Batch-tracked pharmacy stock, FEFO picking, narcotic register, near-expiry alerts, and re-order rules that match your formulary, not a generic pharmacy template.
Lab orders & results
Lab order capture from OPD/IPD, result entry, reference range alerts, and integration with the major lab machines — without paying per-test licence fees.

Frequently asked questions
Do you implement ERPNext for clinics and hospitals in India?
Yes — single-doctor clinics, multi-specialty hospitals up to about 200 beds, diagnostic chains, and standalone pharmacies. We have not done a 1000-bed tertiary care hospital on ERPNext and would not pretend to.
Can ERPNext handle ABHA and ABDM compliance?
Yes — via the ABDM-compliant integrations layer: ABHA creation and linking, Health Facility Registry enrolment, HIE-CM consent management, and the digital signatures required for health record exchange. The work is in the integration, not in ERPNext itself.
How is patient data stored and secured?
On infrastructure you own — Hetzner, AWS Mumbai, or your own data centre. Role-based access for doctors, nurses, reception, and pharmacy; encrypted at rest; audit logs on every record view. We do not host patient data, we do not see it, and the data never leaves your perimeter.
What is the cost of ERPNext for a clinic or small hospital?
A single-clinic or 30–50-bed hospital rollout typically runs ₹8–20 lakh implementation plus ₹1.5–4 lakh per year for managed hosting, depending on the OPD/IPD mix and lab integration depth.
