Meta charges for the template messages you send, by category. Replying to a customer who wrote first is charged too since 1 October 2026, after a free monthly tier. Those charges go to your WhatsApp Business payment method, at Meta's rates as of 14 October 2026; our plan and set-up are separate, in a written proposal. We show you Meta's rate card before you start.
No. Broadcasts, flows and the shared inbox work from a verified business number without the green tick. Meta's verification badge is optional, applied for through Meta, and helps customers trust a number they haven't seen before. We help you verify the business with Meta first, because that is what message templates and higher sending limits depend on.
Yes. Instagram direct messages arrive in the same team inbox as WhatsApp, so one agent can answer both and assign a chat to a colleague. Templates, broadcasts and flows are WhatsApp features; Instagram chats are answered in the inbox. We connect your Instagram business account during set-up, next to the WhatsApp number.
By phone number. When a message comes in or goes out, the Polygin app in ERPNext finds the customer, lead, contact, supplier or order that carries that number, logs the message on it and tells the record's owner. A number that no record carries is not logged in ERPNext; it stays in Polygin's inbox until someone adds it.
Yes. Your contacts and chat history can be exported, and every message the ERPNext app logged stays in your ERPNext whatever you decide about Polygin. Your WhatsApp Business number is yours with Meta, so it can move to another provider. Tell us before you go and we'll hand over the export and help with the move.
Usually, yes. A number on the WhatsApp Business app can be moved to the official Cloud API, which Polygin uses, and Polygin can also connect a number by scanning a QR code. Each route treats your existing chats and contacts differently, so we look at your number first and pick the safer route with you before anything moves.
