What this flow is
Instead of working out each person's pay in a spreadsheet, you pick the month and the people, and one payroll run works out everyone's earnings and deductions from their salary structures.
Each person gets a salary slip, and submitting the run posts the salary journal to the books. Changing a salary is one edit to a structure, not a formula hunt.

Inside the demo company
Mith Demo Traders, a made-up company that makes and sells kettles and toasters. It isn't GST-registered, so its documents carry no tax.
Two demo employees with the demo salary structure are paid basic salary; PF, ESI and TDS aren't set up on the demo company. Submitting the run posts the salary journal; downloading payslips is in MithUniverse only.
